USB keyboard stopped waking iMac 24" with 12.5.1 update

After this update, tapping a key on my USB keyboard does not wake my M1 iMac. Yes, the USB keyboard is plugged into a USB hub. Yes, it used to wake the Mac. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Is there some way to fix it?

iMac 24″, macOS 12.5

The latest stable release of Monterey is 12.6 which has important security fixes. Update to this version and try again.
