NOTES FOLDER MISSING

Mine are all gone. Tons of folders that very important. Called Apple support. I wasn't able to back up my latest Note and I don't keep it in Icloud. She said since it's totally a new system, they are gone. Any thoughts anyone?

Recovering Lost Notes:

If you have lost the notes, then here is what to try...

A. Start Here: If you're Missing Notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

B. Restore from a Backup:

Did your ever back up your iPhone with these installed? If so, back up you could back up your iPhone, and then restore it from the backup.

C. iCloud in Settings: Look in iCloud settings in each device, and make sure that Notes is clicked. If it is, then unclick it, and then click it again.

"New"? "System"?

There is nothing new about trying to recover lost notes. So, what exactly are they telling you is "new"? What do you mean by "system"? You device? Or the method of operations? As for getting these back, take this as a learning experience, knowing to always create a backup of your iPhones photos files using iCloud, that way, you'll how something to restore the data from. should anything go working in the future (data loss, in this case).

I always back up my files. I have some of it but bit the recent ones.

what new system she's saying is the IOS 16 which I kept on asking but after a while, I gave up.

So yeah, she refers to the update as new system but does it not follow that ALL data stored on your Iphone can be retrieved?

I knew the data is always there. Thank you!
