quick start on my iphone is selecting wrong device (wife's phone)

I am trying to use Quick Start to set up my phone. It is not finding my phone when I place it close. When I use the "Set up Manually", it will only go to my wife's phones Log in code. There is no option for me to use select another device so I can use my own phone's log in code. If I do this is it going to set up my wife's phone data on my new phone? Not sure how to change that to my phone to complete the data transfer? Help please.
