Updated to MOS Monterey 12.6 and LOST my favorite Safari Browser

Why did I lose my DEFAULT Browser-Safari after I updated to MOS Monterey 12.6? I cannot find my bookmarks or the Safari Browser!

since iOS update on MAC last week my bookmarks in Safari have disappeared I updated to Monterey 12.6.1 and my Bookmarks have gone. In fact, most of the options along the top edge of screen have gone, ie print, copy, paste, share etc. Sadly I'm not very tech minded so no idea what to do - any help appreciated please.

Sonoma Update Missing URL Search Bar & + to add a new tab in Safari I just updated to Sonoma. I have had the URL search bar at the top of safari above the tabs and favorites. Now, it is gone since the update. I scoured settings and view tab. I played around with things toggling them on and off. I can't seem to find where it went. I also no longer have that plus symbol to open a new tab to search google. This can't be the only way to open a search bar...file..open new tab. How do I get the search bar back and the easy new tab shortcut button? I hate updates that change everything.

I upgraded to monterey and now safari is gone and firefox arrived. I want my safari back How do i get my Safari back
