Can’t adjust sound on apple car play video

when playing a video on Facebook and it connects through the apple car play, I can’t change the sound level either on the phone or the radio button.

Hello, I would suggest updating to the latest iOS to ensure this is not a software issue.

apple car play volume randomly going up and down? i have a 2017 hyundai elantra, and every time ive tried using car play my music volume just goes up and down at random without any manual input. i have speed-controlled volume disabled, my iphone 14 is at max volume, and the car’s volume isnt being adjusted, it just goes up and down at random. theres no settings ive been able to see either in the car play app, my phone settings, or the car’s audio settings. i have no clue whats wrong with it but its incredibly distracting

Apple Music volume at 50% while plugged into car. The recent update has made Apple Music more quiet in my car. My cars volume has a dial from 0-40. 30 used to be the max. Now, with the most recent update (17.1.1), 40 is still quieter than the old 30. When I now look at the song that is playing, the volume bar on the phone shows it’s at 50% and I can’t figure out how to increase this to be 100% so I can adjust the actual volume through my CarPlay. How do I turn up the volume on my phone while plugged into my car? It’s not proper headbanging if I can still hear myself talk

Poor music quality when using Apple car play I want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issues I’m having with Apple car play. Problem: Apple car play is producing poor sound quality when plugged directly into my car via lighting cable. As of today 1/21/23, I am up to date with the latest IOS. The music isn’t coming out clear and the quality drops when I’m connect with car play through out all the frequencies (ex: poor bass). My Bluetooth is producing better quality than apple car play lately. I would expect the opposite considering that I am directly connected to my car audio head unit when I use car play. I really enjoy the Apple car play interface but I can’t get the quality I used to get from it no matter how many times I reset my radio and/or phone. I am using apples music app. Is any one else experiencing the same issue or has a solution to the problem? I already played around with the settings and all my music is directly downloaded to my library via the music app.
