MacBook Pro with M1 Pro

Hello, I use an external (non-Mac) 4K display when working from home. It seems that there's no way to close the lid of my MacBook Pro without my MacBook Pro going into sleep mode?


I would just like to close the lid and continue working with my external display using my wireless mouse and keyboard.


I was able to do this with my previous MacBook Pro...

Hi,

Try to Safe mode boot, then normal boot which could solve the issue.

How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Also sets external display as mirroring.
