Very Worried About The New eSIM feature on the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Traveling Internationally

I am very worried about the new eSIM feature on the iPhone 14 Pro Max as I travel a lot internationally and usually buy a traditional SIM card in each country that I go to and pop it into my iPhone. With my upcoming trip to Iceland, I am very worried that if I buy the new iPhone 14 Pro Max, the Mobile Carriers in Iceland do not support the eSIM technology and still use the traditional SIM cards. How do I resolve this if the new iPhone 14 Pro Max does not have the traditional SIM card tray and Mobile Carriers do not offer eSIM?
