How do I change the name of my MacBook Air in the Apple ID device list?

Changed Mac name in "General" setting but old name still shows in Apple ID device list Title pretty much describes my problem. I recently migrated my old (2015) MacBook Pro to my new (2023) one with Ventura 13.5. At first I used a different name while setting up the new Mac but then I decided to go back to the old name. I went first to the "General" setting then to Sharing (Local hostname) and made the change. I rebooted thinking it was necessary for the change. To my surprise when I looked at the device list in the "Apple ID" setting the old name was still. Try as I might I've had no luck at all figuring out how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the MacBook Air go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name and change it there.
