How do I change the name of my MacBook Air in the Apple ID device list?

On the MacBook Air go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name and change it there.

I recently migrated my old (2015) MacBook Pro to my new (2023) one with Ventura 13.5. At first I used a different name while setting up the new Mac but then I decided to go back to the old name. I went first to the "General" setting then to Sharing (Local hostname) and made the change. I rebooted thinking it was necessary for the change. To my surprise when I looked at the device list in the "Apple ID" setting the old name was still. Try as I might I've had no luck at all figuring out how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
