I deleted an app but it still says open in appstore

It may have been removed from the Home Screen but not deleted. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.

There is a search box at the top of the App Library screen that may be able to find it.

That indicates that the app is still installed on your phone (or at least that the App Store thinks that it is); that is why I suggested going to the App Library on your phone to see if you can find it.

It may be a problem due to the phone shutting down when you were deleting the app. You may want to contact Apple support. There is a Get Support link at the top right of this page.
