Apple education store discount and VAT reduction

Me and my girlfriend are traveling to Milan, (Italy). We are interested in purchasing 2 MacBooks with apple education discount, and get VAT reduction. We are both students in eligible universities in Israel.

• About education pricing eligibility:

Is it possible to get the discount in the physical Apple store (Apple Store Piazza Liberty) or it is only available online? What documentation we need to bring with us? Is it possible to have education store pricing in Italy although we are students in Israel?

How does the 150€ gift-card works? Can we use it to purchase the MacBook itself and have an even bigger reduction of the price?

• Can apple store employees provide the necessary documents for VAT reduction at the airport?

I couldn’t find answers to my questions in the link you provided.

Also i noticed that is says that “back to school” offer is only available at summer (June to September) though in the education apple store it does not says that. Is it true? In November it won’t be possible to get the 150$ gift card? And if so, what about the reduced price of the MacBook? Is that neither going to be available?

In addition, is there a way to mail apple stores, and not call them? It’s an expensive international call..
