IPad Pro 2020 microphone not working

I recently just bought a new 3rd gen iPad 11 inch Pro and the voice recorder isn’t working properly. I say properly because when play back a recording of me speaking in the voice memos app, all I hear is the white noise from the environment. I noticed the tapping sound on the iPad is recognized, but nothing about my voice or any external sound I made. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting protocols and procedures and nothing comes up. Sometimes i could be on a FaceTime call and the receiver could hear me properly, but some other times I can’t be heard at all. I’ve also tried recording a video and the microphone works on it, what do I do??

Clear the microphones

Remove any screen protectors, films, or cases from your iPad.
Clear any debris from the openings of your iPad.

If Siri can't hear you

Open the Voice Memos app.
Tap the Record button , speak at the top of your iPad, then stop the recording.
When you play back the memo, you should hear your voice clearly.
If you don't hear your voice clearly, contact Apple Support.

If you can't record sound in videos

Open the Camera app.
Record a video while speaking at the top of your iPad.
Tap the camera chooser to switch to the other camera. Then record another video while speaking at the top of your iPad.
When you play back the videos, you should hear your voice clearly.
If you don't hear your voice clearly, contact Apple Support."

If the problem persists, Contact Apple for support and service
