Editing a Magic Movie in iMovie

I’ve used iMovie to create videos successfully, and today chose to use Magic Movie for my latest project (including over 100 media items) while editing on my iPad. I now realise there are more limited functions in Magic Movie. Is there a way I can convert it to a regular format project so I can do things like add Ken Burns effects on photos, add different coloured background slides for text etc. I’ve uploaded so many media clips I don’t want to have to start all over again! Downloading from iCloud takes so long for such a large project!
