videos do not download in full color to iMovie from newer iPhones. When I bring videos from my new iPhone 14 they are all washed out. they don't download as they look on the phone.
Is there a setting in iMovie as to what format the videos must be in?

Hi,
I am using iPhone 14 pro, and photos imported into Mac iMovie come in with full color.
Assuming that you are using iMovie for Mac, try exporting one of the photos from your phone to your desktop. It will be in .jpg format. From your desktop drag it into an iMovie timeline and see if the image displays in full color.
Sometimes the HEIC format can cause things like a washed out look with pre-Mojave Mac operating systems.
