Apple Id/balance on purchase block

I placed an order for the macbook air m2 chip back on July 12th using my apple id balance. The order went thru and then the next day it got cancelled and no one can tell me why. Apple ended up putting a purchase block on my account so I can’t purchase anything, pay for my subscriptions, and there is $1,258 in my apple balance that I’ve been saving up and can’t use. I’ve spoke to apple over 50 times and no one can help me. They’ve put in multiple requests for the purchase block to get removed and they all say “within 1-3 business days you’ll be able to purchase on your account again”. It’s been over a month and no one has gotten back to me about all the requests I put in. Please help me, this is a lot of money in my account.

This is a technical question and answer support site, mostly users like you, and even the few Apple people who respond here are not equiped to handle this kind of thing. You need to contact Apple again.


Contact Apple. Click here --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

There's a related thread with multiple posts but I think that's more where an entire account was blocked, not just the purchasing ability. I have been on this forum for almost 20 years and don't recall anybody posting something that would contribute to a solution other than keep on trying with Apple. I think if somebody had a magic solution we would have seen it by now, sorry.
