I have changed printer settings in both the printer window and the terminal settings and get a MASSIVE portion of the document I am trying to print. If I hit scale to 25 percent I get a 25% size window of the MASSIVE section of the page.

If this is isolated to one PDF or PDF page— try a different PDF and compare your results.
