Scam text? "A new device has been added to your Apple wallet on 25/08/22. If this wasn't you, please verify your identity via...(link)". I have not set up Apple wallet at all! Sounds suspicious, but I haven't found an example of this particular scam text in my googling.

It's a scam, even if you have set up Apple Wallet.
There are new scams appearing everyday. Each one of them is trying to trick you into revealing your Apple ID and Password as well as provide other personal info.
NEVER click a link in a message like this, or call the phone number in the message.
No, too wary to click on it!
Hello ~ Good to hear. Always best to be wary… I myself narrowly missed a scam posing as the United States Postal Service last week.
