Beats fit case draining

When I fully charge my Beats Fit Pro earbuds and the case, then let them sit in the case while closed, the battery is draining. Is this a unit defect or bad design?

Hello N2B12,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with charging your Beats Fit Pro. To start, check ou tthis helpful infomraiton about charging them to see if they resolve the issue: Charge your Beats Fit Pro - Apple Support

"Charge your Beats Fit Pro

Your earbuds each provide up to six hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation turned on, and up to seven hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation turned off. With the charging case, you can get up to 24 hours of playback. And with Fast Fuel, you can get up to one hour of playback after you charge for five minutes.

To keep your Beats Fit Pro charged, put them in the charging case when you're not using them.

When the charging case is less than 40% charged, the LED on the front turns red. If the LED blinks red, you might need to reset your earphones."

"If you can't charge your Beats Fit Pro

If you're having trouble charging your Beats Fit Pro, here are some things you can try.

  1. Make sure that the earbuds are seated properly in the charging case.
  2. Use another power source or a different cable.
  3. Reset your Beats Fit Pro.

If you still need help, contact Apple Support."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
