how to reset junk mail on MacOS Monterey

about 2 months ago i highlighted my entire inbox and junked it, I believe that trained the junk mail filters and even though I went into settings and unchecked all the junk mail boxes, and I try dragging the junk mail (those that were falsely accused) back to the inbox, I cannot seem to figure out a way where half my actual email doesn't end up in the junk folder.

the maddening part now is that when I move the junk mail to the inbox, the archive button moves it all right back to the junk...

it's a real tragedy...

help if you can, it's for the kids!
