After an update my display is now too big for my screen and I have checked my zoom and display options and they haven't changed. I can't see a good inch on the bottom or high hand side of my screen.

Have you tried a scaled resolution: System Preferences > Display > select Scaled > Select a resolution. Might want to try them all.

Yes that has done nothing either
