scrambled video playback

Audio is fine but image is scrambled when playingback purchased Itunes movies on Dell laptop. The computer is authorized, the display is HD and the movie is HD. Made sure Windows graphic settings are on high performance. It looks like a copyright issue, but I am all signed in. Google this issue and found several similar issues, but no clear recent solution to this issue. Any suggestion welcome. Thank you.
