apple arcade games not starting

I have a family share account, and the primary has no problem opening and running games on our iMac. When on my son's account the arcade game starts, and then immediately closes. This is a new issues, but I can't seem to figure out what is driving the issue. Still experience even with screen time turned off.

iMac 27″, macOS 11.6

As that game app quits upon trying to open while logged into your son's user account on your iMac, we recommend taking the steps here to address this issue: If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open


"If an app on your Mac does not work as expected, try this.


1) Quit and reopen the app

Quit the app, then open it again. If the app won't quit, force the app to quit. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

 

2) Restart your Mac

Restart your Mac. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

 

3) Check for updates

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, then click Updates. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your Mac. Or if you didn't get the app from the App Store, look for updates to the app on the app developer's website. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

 

4) Reinstall the app

Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. If you didn't get the app from the App Store, redownload the app on the app developer's website. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed."

I certainly appreciate your attempt at providing a resolution, but I have tried all those items. The issue is not with an individual app, as ALL arcade apps fail when he tries to launch them. When I go to my log in on the same iMac the app works fine. That indicates to me that it is not a OS or App version issue, but something in his permissions, settings/access or some program conflict that is causing an issue. Any ideas on where to look would be appreciated as I think I have gone through the initial items already.
