I got a new Apple phone and T-Mobile transferred all my data but my watch doesnt work and my old phone is erased

Got a new Apple phone. T-Mobile transferred al my data from the old to the new and then the phone data was erase, wiped out clean. My Apple Watch is not syncing to the new phone?
