My iPhone 11 Pro doesn't connect via USB to my Macbook.

Whenever I connect my iPhone, the connection starts flickering. My iPad, my mouse, and any other device works fine, but the iPhone doesn't. It's a 2015 Macbook, I reset the PRAM, I've used different cords (Apple).

I just want to be able to backup my iPhone physically, as I don't want to get roped into Apple's iCloud nonsense.
