iPhone 15 Pro, Windows 11, iTunes, USB-C Pro cable, NOT WORKING

Extremely disappointed to find that my brand spanking new 15 Pro 1Tb, connected using the $180 USB-C Pro cable, is simply not able to finish a simple back up using iTunes. It never really gets to actual copying, it spends a little time going through "Backing up..." and then the phone simply disconnects. I understand these are meant for the Apple ecosystem but still, keeping a USB device connected should not be an issue as of September 23, 2023!!!

What did you do to fix? It's funny because I'm having the EXACT problem as the poster in that thread, but with my iphone 15 pro. Bought a new USB 3.2 cable and have a USBC 3.2 port on my motherboard, but it will NOT recognize the phone, only charge it. The same cable works fine with my Pixel (Windows sees it), as well as other USBC devices, but not the iphone. If I plug the iphone into any of the USBA ports with a proper adapter cable, Windows WILL recognize it (but without the 10GB/s transfer speeds). I've updated drivers, reinstalled USB hubs, updated chipset and bios, and I simply can't get this device to appear in device manager
