Why is the preview of songs now limited to 8 seconds?

Is everyone's ability to sample songs which you might buy, now limited to 8 seconds? One cannot judge a song in that amount of time!

I'm getting 90 seconds with all the tracks I check in the iTunes Store. Perhaps something is amiss for you. Try Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Reset Cache.
