Macbook refresh rate on monitor
Hi all,
My MacBook Pro has a refresh rate of 60Hz. If I purchase a 75Hz monitor, when I link my Mac to the monitor, will my mac on the monitor have a 75Hz refresh rate?

If you purchase an external display that's compatible with a 75Hz refresh rate, you should be able to get up to that when you connect it with your Mac. This walks you through using an external display with your MacBook Pro: Use one or more external displays with your Mac
If you are getting a lower than expected refresh rate when using the external display, we would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer for further help. They would be the best-equipped to ensure you are getting the most out of your display.
