Can I customize the free style or open water swim? I swim in the ocean, but not always free style.

I want to track my swim distance in the ocean, but I don't use the same stroke the whole time. Free style, back stroke, catch a quick wave, etc. Each session is different.

If you don't swim freestyle then your distance won't be recorded.

I didn’t realise the pool was longer that my usual pool until after I had completed the swim! It was 33 1/3 yards not the usual 25 yards so I’m obviously a few yards short on my activity!
