Apple TV without a monitor?
I want to use my iPad and a mini projector with an hdmi cable and without a monitor, I went into an Apple shop to buy an adapter and they persuaded me to buy an Apple TV. Will this work?

if the projector have an hdmi version 1.3 or newer it should be transparent for the appletv box that it's not just any old tv it's connected to
