Iphone keyboard changes previous words when using Slide to Type

^ No offense, but that general community answer by Todd is a complete insult and unhelpful. To OP, I also have this issue and found your question today while searching online (since I experience the same issue). From what I have seen, there is currently no fix for this and is very aggravating as I had to re-correct half this paragraph because slide-to-type keeps autocorrecting words like you said. Hope they fix it in a future IOS release.

Since you've isolated this issue to Slide to Type, have you restarted the iPhone to see if the issue persists when that feature is enabled? If not, restart your iPhone using the steps listed below.

1. "Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

In addition to restarting the iPhone, you'll also want to make sure your finger isn't slightly touching the screen when typing and Slide to Type is enabled.
