Internet Connection

MAC OS Big sur was working fine and connected to internet. Shut it down to reboot and now will not connect to any operating WI-FI networks it previously did. Message says router has self assigned IP and will not be able to connect to internet. No settings were changed or altered when this occurred.

I've gone to Youtube for solutions, looked at 3 videos to no avail.

Anyone out there experience this?
