Invalid Email Error

All of a sudden my iphone is not getting new emails for my sbcglobal.net email address. It also is not able to show the messages of older ones there just before this happened. ( I still get new emails on my home ACER computer.) I went into Settings, Name, Phone number, Emails and the sbcglobal.net email address is there and correct. I selected EDIT and deleted it and thought I could add it again, but it is not accepting it. I select add email address and put in the same email address and it says Invalid Email.....this email address is not available. Choose a different address.". This is the one I need to add.

"Enter account settings manually 

If Mail can't find your email settings, then you need to enter them manually. Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose IMAP or POP for your new account. If you aren’t sure which one to choose, contact your email provider.
  2. Enter the information for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next. If you don't have this information, try to look it up.
  3. If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish. If the email settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to edit them. 

If you still can't set up your email account or save your email settings, contact your email provider."

If you are still having issues, can you provide a few more details? Were you able to verify your settings with your email provider? Has your email provider changed any settings recently? Also, are you able to add this email to any other devices?
