Universal Control not working with external monitor

Universal control doesn’t work between my MacBook Pro (13” M1) and my IPad Pro (2021) when a monitor is plugged in.

Universal control worked fine before it was fully released. After it was officially released it stopped working. Now it works without external monitor, but when i plug in my monitor it stops.

Anyone heard of this issue?

Is there a fix for an external monitor connected to a M1 Mac Mini going black for a few seconds every few minutes? Have tried connecting using HDMI cable as well as DisplayPort to USB-C cable (both are good quality cables). Had this issue very briefly early on right after purchasing the mini, but it went away after I switched to a new HDMI cable that came with the LG monitor. A year and a half later the problem is back and switching HDMI or DisplayPort to USB-C cable does not help. There are no issues when I connect the same monitor using the same DisplayPort to USB-C cable to my M2 MacBook Pro. So it does seem that the problem is with the M1 Mini.

Universal Control Not Working When Using External Monitor So I am finding that when connected to an external monitor on my Macbook Air M1, I am unable to get Universal Control to work with my iPad Pro M1 - is this normal or do I have an issue in my settings somewhere please? Any help is much appreciated, thanks :)

external monitor not fitting screen properly Hi. I have a Mac Book Pro M1 paired with a band new Samsung 28" LU28R55 external monitor but the picture is not fitting the monitor screen properly. It's small and the top and edges are cut off - not expanded to the length and hight of the potentiality of the screen. There's no option on the monitor to adjust this setting and it's the same with the settings on the Mac itself. Im using HDMI inputs and outputs from MAC book This is a 4k screen running at 60hz. Plug and play so the specialist say. Not sure what the issue is

Are all your devices on their latest OS versions?

I have tried using my mac with an external display AND Sidecar and it works for me.

Also: is the external display connected with some dock that requires third party software like DisplayLink? If so, is it up to date?
