I am trying to buy applecare but it says my phone is not eligible. Why? I have an iphone 11

When did you buy it? You can only add coverage within 60 days of the date the phone was originally sold by Apple or an authorized retailer.

AppleCare+ is available for up to 60 days after original purchase date of a new iPhone bought directly from Apple. Does this apply to this iPhone?
Needs to be purchased in the first sixty days after you purchased the phone.
