Why can I not get apple care for my iPad

In most countries, you have up to 60-days from purchase of a new device within which to purchase the optional AppleCare cover.

If eligible, you should see the AppleCare option visible in iPad settings - this usually appearing just below your Name / AppleID.

If not seen, you may see the option to purchase AppleCare here:

Settings > General > About > Coverage

You can also purchase AppleCare for your iPad directly from Apple’s website:

You have asked us to guess your iPad model and its original (factory sealed) purchase date.

The AppleCare offer is time limited.
