Won’t update my Apple ID

My new Apple Watch won’t update my Apple ID o had to make a new Apple ID and now it won’t update to it when my old one isn’t even on my phone no more , also factory reset the watch

To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.

Then;

Set up and pair Apple Watch
