I have focus status is disabled on my phone. It is also disabled for messages. I do not share this ability across any of my devices and yet my friends and family are still seeing the message saying I have messages silenced. I have nothing silenced. I am not even using DND. This has been an ongoing problem since focus was added. I’ve tried all the fixes I could find. Please correct this issue ASAP.

We are users like you, we cannot fix anything.
Have you tried turning ON sharing focus across devices then turning focus status off in the next screen?
If that doesn't fix it put in a bug report here
As soon as you turn off the Focus the status message that was displayed earlier on the recipients iPhone will go away. There is no question of a new status appearing unless you have not enabled any of the focus DND.
