Focus Status won’t share to others in Messages

My Focus status worked maybe a year ago and then stopped after a certain update. My Focus mode is turned on, it’s shared across all devices, there are no allowed apps, and everything that seems like it should be toggled on is.

I have been testing this with another device I own, but I see no notification that my focus status is turned on. This is frustrating because another friend, also with an updated iPhone, has a focus that is that works.

What do I need to do, can anyone help?

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

My focus status won’t share to others’ Messages app. It used to work and then stopped after a certain update. It no longer shares.

However, I have a friend with the same iPhone (currently updated like mine) but their Focus status shares to others in the Messages app.

It’s not a contradiction, it’s an issue I need Apple’s assistance with.
