HomeKit and Eufy Cameras Don’t Record

I have just setup 4 eufy pan and tilt cameras into my house, and added the cameras to HomeKit from the eufy app. I have 3 Apple TV’s all updated to the latest version. I also have 4 homepods (1 HomePod and 3 HomePod minis). When I turn off all the HomePods and just rely on the Apple TV as the hub - the eufy cameras record without any issue in the home app. The minute I turn on the HomePods and power them up - recording stops. The video is still viewable in the home app but nothing will record anymore.

Does anyone had the same issue and know of a fix? Is this a HomePod issue?

Hey there Thumpeross,

As you're dealing with a lot of Home accessories, Apple devices, and a third-party apps, there are several variables at play, and to take into consideration.

While you may need to reach out to the developer of the app you use for the cameras, we recommend confirming the following to rule out some possible causes from the Apple end of things:

You mentioned that all three of your Apple TVs are up to date, but the latest version is tvOS 15.6. Is this the version showing in all three Apple TV models under Settings > General > About?
You also mentioned powering off/on your HomePods, but have you done the same thing with your Apple TV models and the Eufy cameras? While you may need to reach out to Eufy to find the steps to restart those cameras, this link shows how to Restart Apple TV.
By default, apps on Apple TV are set to update automatically. If you left this option enabled, the Eufy app on your Apple TV should be up to date. If you did in fact disable this option, check out 'Set up automatic updates and installation' here: Purchase and download apps on Apple TV
If this worked without any issues in the past, when did this behavior start when powering on your HomePod devices?
