Big Sur image file

I have an M1 MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) running Monterey OS, despite this not being listed on the supported compatible devices, and was wondering if my device is compatible with Big Sur? If so, could you please point me to where I can source the image file? I would like to run Big Sur inside my VM

16-in MacBook Pro 2021 was first issued with MacOS 12.0.1, so it will not run MacOS 11 Big Sur natively.

It's a bit of work to get it to run in a Virtual Machine, but it can be done. In most cases, you need to convert the download to a DVD image or .iso file.
