aria-describedby is not announced by voiceover in macOS

Voiceover does not announce aria-describedby in macOS.

FYI - hints in voiceover utility is ON

Steps to reproduce the above issue

Use chrome/safari in MAC OS
Visit the link https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Techniques/aria/ARIA1 --> Go to examples section and open the link to working example
Launch voiceover (Make sure hints in voiceover utility is ON. Steps to turn it on - Open voiceover utility --> verbosity --> hints --> choose Speak help for all items --> Set speak hints after delay to short )
Focus on the button and observe that the aria-describedby wont be announced
