Lose audio when recording Keynote presentation

Hi. I recorded a 45 minute presentation on keynote only to find that the sound was missing on 3-4 slides.

I find that if I stop to re-record a slide, that’s when I lose sound. It eventually comes back a few slides later.

Has anyone had this issue? It’s very frustrating because the green volume signal seems to be picking up my sound.

TIA.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.6
