Macbook air printing small

When I print to my canon mg7720 from my macbook, the print comes at small, about 25% size. I have selected letter paper size, I have updated macbook and printer software and drivers, I have rebooted macbook, I spent over an hour with apple tech support but no help. When I print from my iphone the print size is normal. When I print from my windows computer, the size is normal. So I think it must be something on my Macbook that is causing it. Didn't always print this way, just started maybe 2 or 3 months ago. Any help appreciated.

Are you accessing your Gmail through Safari as well or are you using Chrome? Chrome has it's own printer settings that have scale as an option, but it's at the bottom of the print screen. Change fro Default to Custom and make sure it's set to 100% and that the paper size is set to letter.

Also, make sure you're using the print icon that is in the upper left area of the Gmail list and not File -> Print

Thanks again. I am accessing gmail using Chrome. I found options on Chrome settings for font size (set to normal, recommended) and page zoom (set to 100%) At the bottom of the print screen, I find paper size set to (letter) and scale set to (default). I changed the scale to custom and set it at 100% but it still printed the page at about 25%. I upped the scale to 200%, as high as it would go and it printed the page about twice the size, but still very small

When you go to print, make sure that you are seeing the details. It's a button at the bottom of the print page that will say "Show Details" if not.

Check your "Scale" setting and see if messing with the numbers there makes a difference.

Also, where are you trying to print from that is causing this? Is it across every program? Only on Safari, Pages, Numbers, Microsoft Office or some other program? If it's program specific, there may be a page formatting option within it's own print setup.
