When attempting to add a loyalty card the wallet is now only giving ‘add in’ option of a card which can pay via apple pay!!! Why will wallet no longer add loyalty cards. This is a pain. What is the fix. And don’t tell me to ho to settings as was the advice to this same question earlier. It does not offer any option other than credit card and travel card.

Not being familiar w/ this card … does is contain a QR code ?
(Which would presumably take the user to a website or other “electronic means” to actually install the card into Wallet)

Well, not according to Apple Support. On scanning a John Lewis Loyalty card which should upload It did not work. His phone wasn’t working for this function either. He said the phone should offer an option for this, on checking further, he said there is currently
work being done on the software in U S.
That is the issue, as I said initially. The software is defaulting to Credit Card and Travel Card - Apple Pay with NO add another card to Wallet. Regardless if the app has been downloaded. No problem until

Wallet has never allowed loyalty cards as a pull operation. The card provider must give you an "Add to Apple Wallet" in their appas a push operation.

If it’s like most loyalty programs …
… once you are logged-in to your account within the app, there’ll be a “Add Card to Apple Wallet” icon which you can select to install the card.
