MacBook Pro 2013

Is it wise to buy a 2013 MacBook Pro now in 2020? Or is it obsolete?

Also concerned with Compatibility with my other iOS devices considering the continuous iOS upgrades this days.

I think it unwise because it IS obsolete. But that's a personal choice.

It's actually 2022 so a 2013 Mac is 9 years old.

Are there any more MacBooks coming out this year? Was wondering if apple consistently makes new MacBook Pros at the end of each year as I'm not sure if I should upgrade now or wait a bit longer.
