Will a device bought in the US work in Russia?
Hello! I am from Russia, but soon my friend will visit the USA. They are planning to buy a MacBook for me, but someone told me it wouldn’t activate in Russia. Is it true?

I would be very hesitant to buy any product that had no support structure where I was going to be living. Not just Apple ... any item. Unfortunately, even Apples need service from time to time, what is your plan for that?
