Is it possible to mirror my macbook to my ipad pro and use the ipad magic keyboard and touchpad?

I have a 16" macbook pro, but it's more comfortable to use my ipad w/ magic keyboard on the couch. I basically want to turn the ipad into a mini version of my macbook. Is that possible? With universal control, I can control the mouse on my macbook with my ipad, or I can mirror my macbook to my ipad, but then the touchpad on the ipad doesn't work, but the keyboard does. Any idea if this is even possible?

I tried all of those things already. It doesn’t seem like it’s possible to use the iPad magic keyboard trackpad while mirroring the MacBook to the iPad. Only the keyboard works, which is a bummer. I landed up using AnyDesk to remote into my MacBook from my iPad. Thanks for the response though!
