Connect Mac Mini M4 with Ipad

Hello everyone,

I have a Macbook Pro that is becoming too old.

As an alternative, i would like to connect a New Mac Mini M4 with an Ipad and use the Ipad as Main Display, Keyboard and Mouse.

Reason for that is that the Mac Mini would be my main station when i play live gigs, but i don't want to have Keyboard and mouse (and there is no integrated keyboard/touchpad available in the market).

Of course main alternative is a new MacBook... but i'd like to check if the option Mini+Ipad is viable before bying the whole kit.

Thanks for your help

While you can use the iPad as en extra screen, there is no way for it to be the only screen, as you need to be able to navigate on the Mac mini to enable the option.

There is no quick keyboard combination to enable this nor will plugging the iPad directly into the Mac mini make it its display directly.
