Apple Mail Mailbox Doesn't Exist Error

I'm using IMAP on Apple Mail and without any change to settings or preferences, I get the following errors when sending email:

Mailbox Doesn't Exit: INBOX.Sent Messages, and

Mailbox Doesn't Exit: INBOX.Draft, and

If I play around with the mailbox behavior settings and change the boxes to "on my Mac" it seems to resolve, but I should be able to designate whatever folder I want for sent, draft, etc.

Any suggestions?

As you're using macOS 12.4, we'd recommend updating to test to see if the issue remains: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support
