Apple Watch series 7 received totally dead

I just received my first ever Apple Watch series 7 and my battery was totally dead! I have it charging now but how long will it take and is this an issue?

Mine was completely dead when I bought it and after an hour on the charger I set it up and everything has been just fine since.

Apple Watch series 8 dead out of the box I just had my first ever Apple Watch series 8 cellular watch delivered to me today. After taking it out the box the battery was completely dead. Is this normal? As usually with apple products there is some battery for the set up? It’s been on charge for over an hour and the green lighting bolt is on however the battery is not increasing. I am worried I have received a bad Apple Watch. Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone please advise? Thanks

Apple Watch series 7 charging issue I got an Apple Watch series 7 and it was dead I put it on charging and the green lightning bolt is showing but it is more then 30 mins it is still like that so it is normal right because it is new.
