I use my laptop connected to a external monitor through a USB-C hub. Hence the laptop is always connected to the apple adapter and is powered.
I have turned on the optimized battery charging feature.
I see that the battery is always at 100% in-spite of this feature being active.
Is this acceptable behavior, even after 2 weeks? I was presuming that the battery has to be at 80% since I am always connected to the charger and the battery is never used.

through this application shows that the battery is 98-99% charged if you work constantly from the mains.
Once a week I use the laptop from the battery to 40-50% of the charge to make the battery work

Would the battery stay at 100% always? I am planning to install third party apps to set max battery level to 80% if the mac os is not going to keep it below 100%.
